We built this guide using dual monitors and suggest that’s how you build, edit and update your Google Business Profile.
We have two monitors set up on our MacBook Pro. We have a GBP open on one and the corresponding Guide Chapter, Appendix or Article open on the other.
If you don’t have a dual monitor set up, you can try one of the other “two device” setups (as having your GBP profile open on one and this Guide open on another makes a big difference when working on your GBP),
How To Use This Guide While Working On Your Profile
Using A Desktop Computer and Tablet

If you don’t have a dual monitor set up, we suggest using a desktop computer or laptop and a tablet.
On your tablet, open the Guide Chapter, Appendix or Article that corresponds to the Google Business Guide module you’re working on.
On your desktop or laptop open the GBP module you’re working on.
In addition, depending upon the module, you’ll need your library of photos, images and content.
How To Use This Guide While Working On Your Profile
Using A Desktop Computer and Smart Phone

If you don’t have a dual monitor set up, another suggestion is using a desktop computer or laptop and your smartphone.
On your phone, open the Guide Chapter, Appendix or Article that corresponds to the Google Business Guide module you’re working on.
On your desktop or laptop open the GBP module you’re working on.
In addition, depending upon the module, you’ll need access to your photos, images and content.

Using A Smart Phone and Desktop Computer

Our last suggestion, if you don’t have a dual monitor set up, is to use your smart phone to work on your GBP and a desktop computer or laptop to display the Guide.
On your desktop or laptop, open the Guide Chapter, Appendix or Article that corresponds to the Google Business Guide module you’re working on.
On your smart phone, open the GBP module you’re working on.
You’ll need access to your photos, images and content.
